24/7 Emergency Garage Door Repair
Door stuck open, car trapped inside, or a spring that just snapped? Call any time — nights, weekends, and storm season.
Call 727-687-2934When the Door Can’t Wait Until Morning
Some garage door problems can wait for a weekday appointment. Others can't: a door stuck wide open overnight, a car trapped inside before an early shift, a door hanging off its track, or a broken spring when you have somewhere to be in the morning. Our emergency line is open 24/7.
Our regular hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and we're open 24 hours on Saturday & Sunday. Outside of weekday hours, the same number — 727-687-2934 — reaches our emergency line.
When you call, we'll ask a few quick questions to understand what's happening and walk you through making the door and the house safe until we arrive.

What to Do While You Wait
- Stop using the opener. Running a door with a broken spring, snapped cable, or off-track roller can make the damage — and the danger — much worse.
- Be careful with the emergency release. Only pull the red release cord if the door is fully closed. If a spring is broken and the door is open, releasing it can let the door slam down.
- Keep everyone clear. Keep kids, pets, and vehicles away from the door until it's been secured.
- Don't touch springs, cables, or bottom brackets. They hold enough tension to cause serious injury.
- If the door is stuck open, lock the door between the garage and the house and move valuables out of sight.
- After a storm, take photos of any damage before anything is moved — they help with insurance claims.

Hurricane & Storm Season Emergencies
Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30, and in Tampa Bay the garage door is often the largest opening in the house. If it fails in high wind, pressure can build inside the garage and push up on the roof — which is why Florida Building Code treats garage doors as part of the home's wind-resistance envelope and rates them for local design wind pressures.
After a storm, our priority on an emergency call is to secure the opening: get the door closed and locked, or safely braced, so the house isn't exposed. Then we schedule the permanent repair. If a wind-rated door has been damaged, we'll tell you whether it can be repaired without compromising its rating or whether replacement parts or a new door are needed.
The best emergency is the one that never happens. A pre-season maintenance tune-up catches loose track bolts, missing struts, and worn hardware before the first storm — see our hurricane prep checklist.
Emergency Call or Next-Day Appointment?
Call the emergency line if the house can't be secured, a vehicle you need is trapped, the door is hanging crooked or partly off its track, or anything looks like it could fall. Those situations shouldn't wait.
If the door is closed and secure and the problem is more of an annoyance — a noisy door, a dead remote, a door that's slow but working — it's usually fine to book a regular repair appointment. Either way, you'll get a clear price before any work starts.
